IBAAKU
Described by The Fader magazine as “a prime example of Afrofuturism”, Ibaaku is a prolific Senegalese artist with an insatiable appetite for eclectic sounds. Based in Dakar, Senegal, Ibaaku is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, author and radio show host who’s released several albums with his hip-hop collective I-Science. His creativity explores genres from soul to jazz, all mixed with leftfield electro, as heard on his already cult album ‘Alien Cartoon‘ – a collaboration with fashion designer Selly Raby Kane who’s dressed Beyoncé amongst many others.

TANGLED WAVES
Tangled Waves is a live modular synth / audiovisual duo based in Montreal. Their work explores experimental melodic synthesis accompanied by raw visuals. Olivier pilots the Tangled Waves Eurorack modular system, while Katrin creates live line art, digital drawings and animations. Their debut album released in May this year received was well received with reviews by Grotesqualizer.

ALEX AKAL
A multi-instrumentalist and experimental musician who, on his travels, has discovered the beauty of exotic traditional instruments. He has been part of different bands in UK, France, Luxembourg and Italy, and now runs regular World Music Journey classes in many schools of Greater London. Timeless, his latest album, is an atmospheric journey combining vocals, guitars, didgeridoo, Native American flute and much more.

AMOUSEMENT
The solo project of Ableton Certified Trainer Marcello Ruggiu, since 2009 Amousement has never stuck to one style of music. From ambient to glitchy drum and bass, passing through downtempo beats, he has performed live at clubs and events all over London and beyond.
