Plugged workshops – Online using Zoom

Free afternoon of workshops covering 3D Sound Recording, VJing and Creating Visuals.

Due to the difficult circumstances and social distancing measures we will now be hosting two separate workshops online using Zoom.

A chance to connect with likeminded music makers and creatives. Immerse yourself in 3D Sound Recording, and learn from an experienced VJ and visual creator about making visuals for music.

WORKSHOPS:

2pm : 3D Recording with Michael Neo

Sound designer, composer and qualified teacher, Michael Neo has created scores for a number of theatre productions. The one hour workshop will be dedicated to binaural audio. Michael will talk about the medium’s strengths and limitations, share notable examples and go through some recording tips and tricks.

Feel free to ask questions, discuss points and even share your own creations!

4pm : VJing and Creating Visuals for Music with 2-Digit Visuals

Sadler Johnson aka 2-Digit Visuals has been creating and performing visuals for clubs, music festivals and corporate events for over a decade. He has performed visuals for a range of musicians including the Dub Pistols, Ragga Twins, Dennis Bovell and many more.

Sadler will give an insight into his creative process and top tips on how to get started in producing visuals and VJing. He will uncover the fundamentals and some of the pitfalls of creating real-time visuals using industry standard software, including Resolume and Magic Music Visuals.
