Plugged @ Leyton Technical – 12.12.19

Join us for our last open electronic music jam of the year. An immersive live audio visual feast with two very special live performances…

NOCIVA PROJECT + AMOUSEMENT
[DeepTanzProduction]

Giuliano Masala aka Nociva Project is an experimental producer from Sardinia now based in Cambridge. His production combines mesmerising and powerful electronics ranging from IDM to Classical Music, and from DnB to Ambient Techno. With nods to Aphex Twin and Squarepusher he incorporates a warm orchestral sound with complex and elaborate rhythmic sequences. He will be accompanied by Amousement on visuals.

JULIUS

Presenting his latest solo work, key member of the Stow-Lab crew, Julius Aitken has embraced the modern innovations in music tech with a foot firmly in the old school sound of early house, techno, rave and ambient genres. Often likened to Leftfield, Orbital and Royksopp his sound seeks to steer the listener through a pleasing maze of aural puzzles. Equally happy to draw upon classic analogue instruments or something spawned from an ipad app, there’s often a guitar part involved, and the occasional vocal.

OPEN JAM SESSION

Music makers come join our community! Powered by Ableton Link, our jam sessions are open to all styles, abilities and backgrounds. Bring a synth, gadget or any instrument and come get involved – a great chance to meet, jam, and perform alongside other music makers. We’ll also have a Native Instruments open workstation for anyone to have a go (running a mark 3 Maschine and Maschine jam).

Our jams can run at any tempo and go in any direction. Expect ambient, drone and experimental, through to techno, electro, and breaks.
